Pat Sculley

President

Pat graduated from the U. S. Military Academy at West Point with a B.S in Engineering. He served six years in the U.S. Army. He commanded a mechanized infantry company in Germany, served as an aide-de-camp to a division level general officer, and was an instructor for two years in the Army’s elite Ranger School.

Pat joined Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in 1976. In his 23 years there he was an integral part of its growth from $300 million to over $20 billion.

He served in various leadership positions in the USA, Japan, England, Iran and Mexico.

He was the Director of Leadership Development with the mission of starting a new group whose purpose was to identify and develop the future leaders of a $20B+ corporation with 100,000 employees globally. This was accomplished through a Leadership Development team of 300 employees.

He concluded his service at EDS as the Director of Corporate Planning managing the annual budget process of a $23B company.

Pat was also a member of Ross Perot's rescue team that freed two of EDS's executives being held hostage in an Iranian prison in 1979. Ken Follett documented the story in his book On Wings of Eagles in which Pat is mentioned.

He then spent two years as the Chief Operations Officer for a start-up company. He helped raise $18 million from New York venture capital companies and used the funds to acquire and integrate four companies.

Pat and his wife, Mary, moved to the Phoenix area at the end of 2002. They joined the philanthropic organization, Social Venture Partners Arizona and have devoted their time to several non-profit organizations in the area. For the past three years, Pat has served as the volunteer CEO/President of Kids at Hope, a national non-profit changing the paradigm of youth services in the United States.
